Summer Climbing
Posted by Tara in Uncategorized on 06 22nd, 2009| | No Comments »

It has been a great sunny week.  The Blue Grass Festival has com and gone the sun is out and the climbing is good.  Our guiding is picking up and the flowers are coming in great and the peaks are all ready to be climbed.

Some of our high lights for the early summer has been our growing relationship with the Telluride Adaptive Sports Program,  we have had the privilege to take out a group of Veterans, and some of the local kids.  I have attached some really fun photos of our early trip and are looking forwards to a great summer season.

So I am in Boulder CO awaiting for the Guys to come in to the Denver airport at 9:00 p.m..  I am visiting with My friend Jack Roberts until he is able to come in.  Jasmine and I are enjoying being out of Telluride for a few days.

We are starting to ramp up for the summer programing, the June climbing season should be a good one.  The snow has quickly recited and the mountains are very assessable with great line up to the summits.  Our kids camp program is coming together  nicely with lots of interest for the summer monday to wednesday adventure kids camps.  With all the rain this spring it process to be a great wild flower spring with columbine and blue bells through the alpine meadows.

I am looking forwards to having Josh and the guys home, there will be more personal accounts of their trips to come.
