Discover the Peaks of the San Juans

Mountaineering in Telluride

How many times have you looked up at the majestic peaks surrounding Telluride and wondered what it would take to earn their summits? Colorado Mountaineering is at the heart of the Telluride experience, ask any local. Join us for peak ascents, from casual walk-ups to technical snow/couloir/rock climbs. Your summit photo will look great on your wall and be a fabulous reminder of your Telluride Adventure!

For the ultimate adventure, combine an overnighter with climbing a 14-er.

We have chosen these technical and non-technical peaks because they represent the best our region offers—however, others may be available upon request.

We have teamed up with Life Feeling Photography, a U.S. Forest Service fully-permitted adventure photographer. Contact Matt Kroll at www.lifefeelingphotography.com so you can go home with professional photos of your Telluride adventure.
